More than 20 acts featuring Watertown Middle School students and teachers take the stage in annual showcase

Hosts Julia Cottone and Alexis Caira didn’t get far when trying to substitute for one of the acts.

More than 20 acts featuring students and teachers took the stage for the annual Watertown Middle School Talent Show on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

Eighth-graders Alexis Caira and Julia Cottone served as hosts for the evening.

Principal Kimo Carter was part of the opening and closing numbers. To start the night off, he fronted the WMS Jazz Band, conducted by Anthony Spano, for a rendition of “Mack the Knife.”

Among the other performers were Olivia DeKoster, Matt Loughran, Thomas Cloherty, Hakeen Alhady, Sarah Benites, Milena Szytko, Ashley Mawanda, Emily Danielian, Kate Myler, Vera Doob, Alexander Feltner-Harrison, Evan Aldridge, Katherine Nilov, Saron Nebiye, Timmy Camelio, Claire Gabel, Isabella Keuchkarian, Mariana Torres Roman, Amelia Allison, John Korte, Michael Flynn, Timothy Connors, Anthony Panza, and Jeremy Ornstein.

The show was scheduled to be repeated for the WMS student body on Thursday, April 17.
