Everyone should jump into the Launch fund-raiser event for Watertown Middle School on Friday, May 15! For each admission ticket sold, 25 percent of it will be donated to the WMS seventh-grade X-block ropes course field trip.

If this sounds like an interesting opportunity, come on down and jump on in!

The event will be held at Launch Trampoline Park on 625 Pleasant St., Watertown, on Friday, May 15, from 3-7 p.m. The longer people stay, the more money that will be raised.

“Tell Launch that you’re donating to Watertown Middle School,’’ explained WMS teacher Nicole Dube.

Launch is a new indoor  park with trampolines on the walls and floors. There is an open jump, a foam pit, dodgeball games, a jumping tower, and much more to do, including arcade games.

The seventh grade is going on a trip to a ropes course in Hopkinton as a last activity for its X-block curriculum. On Wednesday mornings this year, seventh-grade students meet in an extended homeroom to learn and build relationships, effective communication, self-esteem, and creative problem solving. To show what they have learned, they go to the ropes course at the end of the year.

“I chose to do it at Launch because I like the fact that they donate 25 percent to WMS, and the more money we raise the less the cost of the ropes course will be,” said Ms. Dube.

Spread the word to friends and family and come on down to Launch and jump like kangaroos to have a good time.
