Dunk contest stuffs the WMS gym

On Friday, Dec. 9, the Watertown Middle School had its annual winter-themed dance. During the dance, the Leadership class set up a dunk contest and a 3-point shooting contest where kids from all grades could participate.

WMS students were ecstatic about the fact that there was some activity other than dancing available. So many kids showed up that it was described by Liana Rice as an “overwhelming amount of people.” Nevertheless, the dunk contest went incredibly well.

The top three contestants in the dunk contest were Nic Oteri, Eoin Morrissey, and Will Dolan. They all had very good dunks, many of which people involved jumping over other kids, but Eoin was judged to be the best!

Overall, the dunk contest was very successful and WMS students hope they will do it again!
