WMS thankful for chance to help good cause

Thanksgiving food drive ends soon

Melissa Rose, Watertown Splash staff

This Thanksgiving, students at Watertown Middle School are giving more than just thanks. They are giving food to the less fortunate.

Each homeroom has a basket, and every child is encouraged to donate one or more Thanksgiving-based foods by Monday, Nov. 22.

Running this charity is Eleanor Donato, the sixth-grade world geography teacher, as well as the head of all community service and charity events at Watertown Middle School. So please send in food by Monday, Nov. 22, and help other families enjoy this Thanksgiving!
