Splash of Flavor 2014: Fettuccine Alfredo at Bertucci’s

Pasta sizzles in the deep puddle of creamy cheese sauce while the juicy chicken is grilling. The mix is put in a white pasta bowl and the chicken drowns in the creamy goodness while the pasta starts to twirl around the center.

The bowl gets carried out to a hungry patron with a growling stomach. When the bowl gets placed down and the fork starts its work, the grumbling stops and satisfaction washes over the purchaser.

Some might call this a luscious, delicious dish, but Bertucci’s calls it fettuccine alfredo.

There are needs by many citizens and in order for them to be met, they go to the Bertucci’s at 275 Centre St. in Newton Corner. Imagine a restaurant that is not only close, but has the best pasta dish ever to be found.

The best time to go is in the evening because it makes Bertucci’s seem comfortable, like you’re eating in your own bed. It even makes eating the fettuccine alfredo taste better because people’s taste buds come alive when eating in a homey environment.

The five ingredients; chicken, pasta, parsley, parmesan cheese, and sauce all get prepared in the restaurant. You never need to question how fresh the fettuccine alfredo, because it is all fresh. The chicken is cut right in the restaurant and the chefs take their time to make sure that the food is made the proper way.

The chicken is a delicate part of the dish and the chefs are specialists at knowing how to make it perfect. The pasta gets cooked thoroughly so that there aren’t any pieces stuck together or hard from not being cooked enough. The pasta turns out smooth and soft to the touch. The sauce lassos the chicken and the pasta together to create the dish that is loved by many. It is even homemade at Bertucci’s and is its own special recipe.

Once all is mixed and prepared, then comes the cherry on top: the parmesan and the parsley. Chefs sprinkle the cheese on and it falls like snow, light and fluffy. The parsley gets settled soon after burrowing into the heaven in a bowl.

All of that only takes 8-10 minutes to make, so you get your food fast and well done.

Maybe you have experienced what you didn’t think possible. The same goes with food. Finding the food that is like no other, fits in that category. You have found the food that you didn’t think existed, Bertucci’s fettuccine alfredo.
