Splash of Flavor 2014: Candy Shop Sundae at Friendly’s
Everyone knows the restaurant Friendly’s, which is most famous for its ice cream sundaes and cakes, but it also serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The nearest Friendly’s is located at the Watertown Mall, across from Target. Friendly’s has a long history, going back to 1935. It also has the Candy Shop Sundae.

The Candy Shop is made with any flavor ice cream, hot fudge everywhere, any toppings — as many as you wish — topped off with whipped cream and a cherry on top!
The woman who made the magic all happen at the Watertown restaurant says that the most popular ice cream flavor ordered with the sundae is mint chocolate chip.
The sundae is no new edition to the Friendly’s menu, but it sure is popular. It’s something the staff there would recommend to everyone. The sundae is not all that hard to prepare and gets delivered to you before it starts to drip.
Of course nobody is willing to empty out their pockets on a sundae, but the Candy Shop only costs $2.66. There is only one size, but it’s not too big or too small. It’s just enough so you won’t leave a drop!
Friendly’s has so many choices of ice creams and desserts, and new ideas all the time, but the Candy Shop is the all-time best. Give it a try, it’s worth it!
