Julia and Alexis will host this year’s Talent Show at Watertown Middle School on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m.

“Being on stage and just acting silly on purpose is not as nerve-wracking as having to sing and not mess up,’’ said Julia Cottone.

Julia is an eighth-grader at Watertown Middle School and one of the hosts of this year’s Talent Show with classmate Alexis Caira. They are going to open up the show, introduce the acts, and close the show.

Being nervous is a very normal thing for everyone, but according to Julia and Alexis, it’s easier to be funny and silly on stage than singing or dancing. Julia said she wants to be an entertainer when she grows up, but Alexis said she wants to be doing something behind the camera.

To get this position, they had to audition for it. With their entertaining skills and funny personality, the Talent Show is sure to be fun.

The Talent Show will be at Watertown Middle School on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5. There will be many talented students performing this year. Some students will sing, dance, play an instrument, and other amazing things!

Students have been practicing for a month or so, and have been working very hard on putting this show together. Not only will there be talented people, Alexis and Julia said there’s also going to be a couple of surprises.

Many people are looking forward to seeing this show, which was put together by the students. We are looking forward to seeing you all there!
