Two more days for Coats for Kids drive

The Coats for Kids drive that started Oct. 9 will end Friday, Jan. 8. As you can see, there’s not much time left, so please try and find some coats for all the people who need them and bring them to Watertown Middle School.

If you don’t know what kind of coat to bring, here’s a summary: The coats have to be gently worn, with no permanent stains, rips, or tears. These coats will go to the Salvation Army, Cradles to Crayons, and other social agencies.

As of Wednesday, there have been 480 coats donated.

The schools that collect the most coats will win prizes — ice cream sundaes for the entire school, cash, a $1,250 gift card to Jordan’s Furniture, and Imax Theater passes to watch for one movie for the whole school!

And don’t think you’re the only one donating. Eleanor Donato donated 13 coats and WMS principal Kimo Carter donated two.

Every little donation counts, so bring those coats in!
