Families invited to first Holiday Sing-a-long tonight at WMS

The Holiday Sing-a-long is a great chance for families to spend time together and enjoy the happiest season of all! What sounds better than a night out with your family and friends and singing holiday songs that have brought so many people joy?

The first-ever Chorus Sing-a-long will be held Thursday night, Dec. 18, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Watertown Middle School, featuring choruses from WMS and all three Watertown elementary schools (Hosmer, Cunniff, and Lowell). Admission is free and festive attire is encouraged!

At this amazing event, there will be games and activities for little ones, such as making snowflakes and a “Do you wanna build a snowman?” station (sound familiar?) where kids can build snowmen out of marshmallows.

There will also be a Mitzvah Tree. For each person that comes to the Mitzvah Tree, they can take a good deed “leaf” and perform that deed to help someone in need, or just to give someone holiday spirit! Keeping in the the spirit of giving tonight, there will be a place to donate clothes for children who do not have proper clothes or shoes that fit.

Pizza and baked goods will be on sale tonight. The money raised will go to the WMS choir and PTO.

But the best part of the event will be the singing, of course!

The WMS chorus students will be joined by elementary choristers and the audience in singing holiday songs. So come to Watertown Middle School tonight (Thursday, Dec. 18) from 5:30-7 p.m. and spread the holiday!
