Rainbow Looms weave together fans at Watertown Middle School
Have you ever heard of Rainbow Looms? Well the Watertown Middle School has! Rainbow Looms are very popular at WMS, and sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students are wearing them.
Rainbow Looms are elastics that you can make bracelets, necklaces, rings, and purses with. You can also make pretty much anything else that you can think of.
“They are fashionable and they are fun to make,” said Lauren A., a WMS student.
There are many different colors of Rainbow Loom elastics. Some of them are red, green, blue, white, black, purple, pink, and silver.
Some WMS students said they like Rainbow Looms because they like wearing them and making different styles. Some of the kids even have their own kits.
“They are fun to wear,” said Andrea M.
“They are happy, upbeat, and fun to make,” said Ashley S.
Students also said that they like trading Rainbow Looms and giving them to their friends.
“They are cute,” said Caileigh S.
You might think that just girls wear Rainbow Looms, but that’s not true at all. Boys ay WMS wear them, too, but usually boys just wear one Rainbow Loom bracelet, although some actually wear more.
Rainbow Looms are a huge trend at WMS and one that might last for a long time.
