Seventh-graders have their eyes on Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner, daughter of Kris Jenner and Caitlyn (Bruce) Jenner, made herself millions by selling lipsticks online, and they always seem to be sold out. Seventh-grade girls at Watertown Middle School have mixed opinions on these products.

The reason they are so popular, according to Laura Terry, Ananya Barton-Shiner, Jamie Fernandez-Sanchez, and Mahera Ahmed, is because Kylie Jenner, a celebrity related to the Kardashians, made them.

Kylie Jenner recently released eyeshadow palettes, called kyshadow, for the bronze palette and the burgundy palette. Many people know this already, if they follow her on Snapchat.

Overall, seventh grade girls tend to enjoy Kylie and her matte, gloss, and metal lipsticks and kyshadows and kyliner.

There has been complaints about why they are always sold out. The girls said that the reason they are always sold out is because Kylie Jenner has tons of fans.

A theory behind her success is only because she is related to the Kardashians. But would someone buy a product only for the Kardashian/Jenner name?

Laura said she would buy products just because it was made by one of the Kardashians. Ananya agreed, saying, “Yes because I like the products they make.” But Mahera said she wouldn’t and Jamie said, “No, that´s a stupid reason to buy them.”

Kylie Cosmetics are not tested on animals and they are made with vegan ingredients. The seventh-grade girls who said no on buying them said they might buy them after learning this, if they weren’t as expensive.
