Do you like Anime, or just like having a good time, then Anime Boston is just for you!

Anime Boston is where Japan and the popular Eastern cartoons called Anime comes to a town near you.

When entering the Hynes Convention Center for Anime Boston 2018, having a pre-registered ticket is a blast. If you decide to order at the door, it will take longer but not too long, as the line goes by pretty speedy.

It’s an overwhelming experience seeing so many cosplayers dressed in their favorite characters (and maybe yours!). With three open exhibit halls, you can never get bored — and the fourth room is for special events. Two of the four rooms being dedicated to Anime and Japanese-themed items, as well as some Japan cultured items like Gachapon and Ufo claw machines. Here you can buy anything Anime related!

Not to interested in buying much? Well that’s perfectly fine. At Anime Boston, there are free items as well. These can range from a small button to a giant tote bag.

In the third room, you’ll find artwork galore. This part of the con is filled with people just like you selling their artwork. Artwork doesn’t just have to be what’s put on paper. Some of what artist is selling can be pillow or keychains or posters.

These four rooms are packed with fun and merchandise that you’ll fall in love with, but there’s so much more that Anime Boston has to offer. At Anime Boston 2018, the band Flow was playing. Flow is an amazing inspirational band with their most popular song chorus being, “We are fighting dreamers.” The songs of the band touched many people’s hearts with their encouraging lyrics and fun and playful attitudes. Flow is an amazing band that not only is a delight to hear, but a delight to watch.

Voice actor J. Michael Tatum answered questions at Anime Boston 2018 at Hynes Convention Center.

Finally, famous voice actor J. Michael Tatum, who voices a ton of characters, was kind enough to answer some questions from student reporters. He said that he always had a passion for acting of all types. He claimed that he loves stage acting, but that voice acting will always have a special place.

To Tatum, voice acting is a “wonderful way to explore your range,” he said. And while stage acting is fantastic, voice acting allows a person to play a very wide variety of characters from a child to and elderly person.

Anime Boston is such a fun experience to go to and be apart of, I recommend it fully!
