Splash of Flavor 2013: French Fries at Teddy’s Kitchen
Entirely changing what one might expect of a town diner, styled in a look back to the ’70s, Teddy’s Kitchen in Belmont goes above and beyond at being unique.
Much of the menu will stand out as breakfast food. Though all of the food is great, there is one dish that stands out above all.
Yes, I am talking about the French fries. Crisp as can be, fluffier than cotton candy, and better than any other restaurant you could go to for fast food.
Going good with nearly everything on the menu, you can even have them just on their own. Gently tossed onto a reasonable platter — or in a takeout box — they look very presentable, though they will not be on display for long, considering how amazingly delectable they are.
Unlike some restaurants’ fries, these aren’t flaky or too short. This is the place to go for fried food.
