Seta’s Cafe a delicious find on Belmont Street

Out of all the many stores and restaurants on Belmont Street, Seta’s Cafe stands out with its delicious Mediterranean/Armenian food, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. They serve many delicious meals, with every bite comes a burst of flavor.

This little and cute Belmont cafe has been around since October 2013 and is run by Seta Dakessian. All of the food is made from scratch, using fresh ingredients. On the cafe’s website, it says, “We take old traditions, mix it with modern ones, add a bit of Mediterranean flare and serve you a simple, good, home cooked meal.”

When Seta came to the United States from Jerusalem, her parents opened up a cafe in Worcester where her mother taught her to cook.

The food served at Seta’s Cafe is healthy and makes you want to come again for more, especially their green salads. The mixed greens, Greek, and chopped salads contain a lively dressing called lemon-mint vinaigrette. The fattoush salad contains juicy lemon-sumac vinaigrette.

As for the sandwiches, instead of using French and fluffy bread, Seta’s Cafe uses lavash bread, a thin and healthy piece of tasty light bread.

The menu has roast chicken, falafel, beef, and many more choices with some coming with salad, rice pilaf, fries, and garlic sauce. You can also have soup, everything from broccoli to tomato.

Seta’s Cafe is fairly known in the area for its delightful and healthy food, so stop by to try it yourself!
