Splash of Flavor 2014: BBQ Zingers at Miller’s Ale House

Over February break, I went to Miller’s Ale House. It is across the street from the Watertown Home Depot and it used to be Bugaboo Creek. Inside, it is slightly dim with TVs everywhere you look.

While there, I ordered the BBQ Zingers (the restaurant’s “world famous” boneless chicken wings) with ranch dressing on the side.

(Hey, you can place your vote here!)

When the dish arrived and placed in front of me, I could smell the barbecue sauce. It had a spicy presence to it. There was celery (to help tame the spice) and carrots (to add some crunch to the dish) along with a very small black cup of ranch dressing. It looked like chicken fingers drowned in lava, because the barbeque sauce was a red-brown color.

There were five Zingers in the bowl, but trust me, that is enough. Just those five will fill you up for the rest of the day.

Once I started to eat, I did not want to ever run out of the Zingers. Their taste was just so delicious, and the way that they were glazed, just made the flavor even stronger. Overall, I would give the BBQ Zingers a 5 out of 5! They were great!
