New fandom takes shape for CrossFit City Line in Watertown

Yes, that’s right, there is a CrossFit Gym in Watertown!  Located on Howard Street, the business just moved from Newton to Watertown and it’s called CrossFit City Line.

“Crossfit is a workout program that involves a couple different ways. It blends cardio, weightlifting, and other workouts,” said Mat Frankel, owner of CrossFit City Line. “It is an efficient and powerful workout.”

He also says that it’s a fun way to work out, and it keeps him in shape. Mat said he would rather do CrossFit than go to an average gym because he likes to keep moving and that’s what CrossFit is all about.

CrossFit City Line recently moved to Watertown and has quite a few people coming and going. There are also people running up and down Howard Street as part of their workout.

“It has gotten very busy in this neighborhood since the gym moved in,” said Eddie, a Watertown resident.

Sometimes the people doing their workouts run while carrying weights.

“It is a very good workout for athletes,” said Mat.

There is no age limit at CrossFit City Line, and there are even programs for children.

“It’s a good place to have fun and get in shape at the same time,” said Jonna, a WMS seventh-grader who is also a regular  customer at the gym.

CrossFit City Line is a great place to get the workout results you want, and a fun way to enjoy it, too!
