Splash of Flavor 2015: Nachos at Brewers Coalition
April 3, 2015
Nachos. Something everyone has eaten before, right? You may say you’ve had the best nachos, but unless you’ve gone to Brewers Coalition in Newtonville, let’s face it, you’ve been lying to yourself.
The nachos come with cheddar/jack cheese, jalepeños, tomatoes, black olives, and scallions mixed into a mountain of tortilla chips! The combination of these toppings makes for a delightful meal to snack on while waiting for your main course. They are piled high, nacho upon nacho, the cheese melted onto each chip, the toppings sprinkled everywhere, so no nacho is plain.
(Hey, you can place your vote here!)
If you ask the server waiting on you, guacamole, salsa, and/or sour cream are available on the side or poured carefully onto the stack of nachos, which, believe it or not, can make this meal even better! You can take off a chunk of the nacho tower and pour whatever you want on it.
The nachos are perfectly crunchy, although not too crunchy as some other nachos may be. But see, after eating those terribly crunchy nachos you don’t say, “I loved those nachos!” do you? Is the cheese too sticky at other restaurants?
Well, at Brewers Coalition, the cheese just melts right into the nachos, which prevents the stickiness and makes the nacho just as warm as the cheese on top of it!
Other places may make you wait so very long, don’t they? The nachos here don’t take long to make, and are served in no time. These nachos are also only $11.95 and worth every penny.
Be careful when eating, though, because these nachos are so good, you just won’t want to stop eating them. Remember, these are only an appetizer, so save room for the meal that is coming for you!
