Annual WMS Talent Show earns rave reviews

For five years, music teacher Abby Cordell has organized the WMS talent show, but this year’s talent show blew all of them out of the water.

On Wednesday, April 28, Watertown Middle School had its sixth talent show and it was phenomenal. Students’ cheer overflowed the auditorium.

“My favorite act of the talent show was the finale, because it was a chance for everyone to get on stage,” said Ms. Cordell.

The hosts for this year’s show were Shannon Cafua, Christina Mazzeo, and Hayley Smith (for the first act), and John Richard and Edgar Mutebi (for the second act).

“My favorite act was NSOD [Nicole’s School of Dance],” said Rebecca Connors, a seventh-grader.

The show was performed twice. It was obvious that Ms. Cordell was proud of the performers.

“The cast and crew should be so proud of themselves for working so hard and putting on a great show,” she said.
